I recently had the misfortune to observe some very bad psychological child abuse that I was powerless to stop. Calling the police would have done no good because the abuse was on a television show, the July 23rd episode of ABC's All My Children. Several adults were ganging up on a little girl, Emma Lavery, trying to get her to stop saying she had seen one of them, Kendall Slater, kill someone by mistake. A late winter storm raged across much of western Europe overnight Friday and through much of Saturday, with winds measuring over 220 kilometres per hour in places, leaving several dead, uprooting trees, cutting off electricity and causing a train crash. Ladt night I asked for prayers on my baby niece Emma, please continue them. Today she is having a catscan done to see if the surgery went well. I have learned that Tom, my sisters boyfriend has been charged with child abuse for Emmas injuries. I hope this isnt true, but I realize that even the best of people can have the worst tendencies. I will keep you guys updated, and keep the prayers coming.
